VIN-Swapped RHD Land Rover Defender Smashed
So, the laws in the US are pretty clear that you can't bring in a RHD (easily), and that VIN-swapping is illegal.
This is what happens if they catch you.

There is a list of some models that can be brought in legally but unfortunately that one wasn’t on it. I understand it is the law in the US but it’s really a waste of their time and money to dispose of vehicles this way, well unless lobbyists are bankrolling the enforcement, seizure and destruction part of this
