Financially, my Hijet is much more economical and better suited to work than a Ford Ranger or similar small truck. Lower purchase price, better mileage and better box and payload. Maintenance costs are also lower. (3 liter oil change!)

Repair and maintenance may be more difficult, but if you like working on cars, fun to figure out.
